Mr. Lotfinia

Babak Lotfinia joined the Economic Analysis Program of the Bureau of Economic and Business Research in 2003, after obtaining his bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Florida. Babak serves as the Program’s research coordinator, leading to work on diverse topics such as Medicaid, transportation, and secondary and higher education. In this role, he also supervises several student assistants and is responsible for data collection and analysis in the course of the Program’s research.

Babak is also a doctoral student in economics with research interests in public choice, voting behavior, labor and education economics.
