Florida’s Consumer Sentiment Index (CSI) for the first half of June increased seven points from May’s final figure. All five components of the consumer survey showed increases from the month prior. All changes reported are compared to May’s CSI reading. Perceptions of one’s personal financial situation compared to a year ago increased seven points to 78. Expectations of personal financial situation one year from now rose eight points to 84. Expectations of national economic conditions one year from now jumped twelve points to 86 while expectations for the next five years  increased by seven points to 83. Perceptions of whether it is a good time to buy major household items increased two points to 92. Though this response had the smallest increase, it was overall the most positive response recorded.
