Valerio Leone Sciabolazza
Dr. Leone Sciabolazza is a Postdoc Associate at BEBR and the UF Clinical and Translational Science Institute. He is an applied economist and his research interests center on spatial econometrics, the econometrics of networks, and the new science of networks.
He received a Ph.D. in International Economics and Finance from Sapienza University in 2016. Before joining BEBR, he was a visiting scholar at the Department of Management of the American University of Cairo (AUC) and at the Swedish Institute for Social Studies (SOFI).
Dr. Leone Sciabolazza is part of the CTSI/BEBR Network Science Program, where he conducts research on the determinants and constraints that shape professional collaborations among scientists, and on strategies of network intervention to foster team science and improve research productivity.
Dr. Leone Sciabolazza also works on two different sets of topics, namely migrant networks and their impact on labor market outcomes; and the causal effect of political networks on legislative success and bill sponsorship.
